Samuel St. Pierre, CPM
Samuel St. Pierre is the Executive Director of Mutual Management Company.

Mr. St. Pierre has been directly involved with the property management industry since 1981. In addition to operations and investment portfolio management, he has supervised all facets of multi-family housing units, including marketing, resident retention programs, special needs programs, contract negotiation, budgets, collections, training and inspections. He also has extensive involvement with major remodeling and capital improvement programs, as well as, the conversion of occupancy programs.

He has served on the executive committee of the Minnesota Multi Housing Association, The Board of Directors, and numerous committees. He is the past chairperson of the Drug Awareness Committee for the Midwest Assisted Housing Management Association and a past board member. He has also served on The Organizations for Fair Housing, Rental Housing Alliance of Minnesota and Minneapolis Mayor Rybaks Affordable Housing Task Force.

Mr. St. Pierre holds the Certified Property manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, the Executive Level designation from the National Assisted Housing Management Association and the Certified Occupancy Manager with a specialty in Section 42 designation from the Minnesota Multi-Housing Association.

Kristin Janning
Kris is the Property manager for Mutual Management. Kris is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Housing with an emphasis in Management. She has furthered her education through coursework in Minnesota Real Estate Licensing, obtained the designation of Certified Housing Occupancy Specialist from the National Center for Housing Management, and completed coursework in Microsoft Word and Excel.

She has worked in the housing industry for the past 18 years, primarily with affordable/Section 8 housing in the Twin Cities area. Kris joined the Mutual Management team in January, 2003. Kris worked previously for Lincoln Property Company at GrandMarc on the west bank of the University of Minnesota campus, with NHP Management/AIMCO at various sites in the Twin Cities are, and for the Ebenezer Society of Minneapolis.

Jessica Smith 
Ms. Smith is the Occupancy Specialist for Mutual Management Company. She has been in the multi-family housing business since 1996. Attended the University of Minnesota and holds numerous Assisted Housing Management and Occupancy Certificates.

Ms. Smith has worked as an Area and Regional Property Manager and Compliance Coordinator. Her assisted housing experience is very extensive in Section 8 Subsidy program and Section 42 Low Income Housing Tax Credit program. She has set-up and coordinated 2 corporate Occupancy Compliance programs.

Abdul M. Yusuf
Mr. Yusuf is the Community Service Coordinator for Mutual Management Company. Mr. Yusuf has worked in the property management industry since 1996. He is a graduate Of Somali National University (Gahayr) with a degree in Economics and has received numerous credits and varies Certificates for Education, and community interpreting/ Translations From the University of Minnesota and Hemline University. He also obtained Certified Resident Manager (CRM) certificates from Minnesota Multi Housing Association and Quadel Consulting, a national consulting Company for affordable Housing. His area of expertise is in Public Administration Management, property management, social & human services and Economics

Since Mr. Yusuf has been in the property management industry, he has worked as a site Manager, Special Programs Consultant and interpreter /translator for Peoples Pride in Living (PPL) and Asset Management Group Companies. He has been involved in the development of training materials for immigrants, and serves on the board of Directors for Central Community Housing Trust (CCHT) an affordable housing Company Since 2001 and Elliot Park Neighborhood (EPN) since 2003.
